Terms and Conditions

Thank you for seeking assistance from Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). The information in this application will be used to determine eligibility for grant funding to help your business recover from the negative impacts of COVID-19.

This application captures information for a business seeking a grant from the LISC Greater Kansas City CCED Small Business Stabilization Fund. Before proceeding, all applicants should review our website for the most updated information:

https://www.lisc.org/kansas-city/lisc-kansas-city-response-covid-19/ccedgrants/

Please be aware that grant funding is limited and highly competitive. If your business is selected for a grant, LISC reserves the right to award less than the amount requested. Because funds are limited, if you have previously been awarded funding from the CCED Small Business Stabilization Fund, you are not eligible to apply for further assistance.

LISC understands the financial crisis facing small businesses, especially those owned by women and entrepreneurs of color. If you have questions about whether your business is eligible, please feel free to contact us via the email listed below. If your business is located outside the CCED boundaries, please visit our website for information about additional funding sources and resource partners that may be able to assist you  .

Please email CCEDgrants@lisc.org for questions and troubleshooting. All communications will be conducted via email.

If your business is selected as a finalist, you will be notified via email. Being selected as a finalist does not guarantee a grant will be awarded. As a finalist, additional documentation will be required, including tax returns, ”active” status with the Missouri Secretary of State (except if you're a Micro-Entrepreneur) and an SSN,TIN/ITIN and/or EIN for the applicant and/or the business in order for us to perform the due diligence required by the program’s funding source. This due diligence inquiry may include background search that we will conduct at our expense. If the due diligence step is successfully completed, we will ask for W-9 and appropriate banking information so that we may transfer funds by ACH (direct deposit) to your designated account.
