We appreciate your interest in applying for LISC Bay Area's HUD Section 4 funding. The information requested below will allow us to determine your eligibility to receive monies from our federal pool of funds. Prior to starting the application process, it is important to thoroughly read and comprehend the Program Description.

Deadline

Applications are due by the date discussed with LISC Bay Area. All required information must be submitted via this online application. Please email Bryant if any issues arise in submitting your full application.

Section 1. Proposed Activities

Note:

Include ALL staff members/titles who will be charging to the Sect. 4 grant; if the staff member/title is not included in the grant budget, the cost will not be reimbursable.


Section 4. Budget

Provide an overall project budget that includes your request for funding from Bay Area LISC as well as other sources of funding for this work that have been secured or are pending utilizing the budget template below. Your proposal must include all of the staff positions that would be partially covered with HUD Section 4 funds (if any) and the total amount for staff time. Please note: HUD Section 4 funds can only cover partial staff time, not 100% of any position. Also, please indicate if you are requesting funds to cover other costs, such as consultant engagements or training. 

 

Bay Area LISC is able to allocate a portion of the grant budget for indirect costs. If your organization has an approved indirect rate agreement for federal funding, please provide us with a copy of your most recent negotiated indirect cost rate agreement and include that indirect rate in your budget. Otherwise, please indicate if you plan to utilize the de minimis rate -- up to 10% of approved costs as per the example below:
