To apply for the LA Rise & Renew Wildfire Recovery Grant, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Business Location
   The business must have a physical street address located within a FEMA-declared disaster area in Los Angeles County related to the January 2025 wildfires.
   PO boxes are not eligible.
2. For-Profit Business
   The applicant must operate a for-profit small business.
3. Revenue Threshold
   The business must have annual gross revenue under $2,000,000.
4. Wildfire Impact
   The business must demonstrate documented physical damage or measurable revenue loss directly related to the January 2025 wildfires.
5. Intent to Remain or Reopen
   The business must currently be operating or show intent to reopen and continue operating in the same community.
6. Payment Capability
   The business must be able to accept ACH payment and provide a voided check or bank letter if selected.

Important Note: Businesses that have already received wildfire relief grant funding from LISC LA for this event are not eligible to apply.

Required Application Documents

Applicants must submit the following with their application:

• Completed application form with signed attestation
• Proof of physical business address within a FEMA-declared wildfire zone in Los Angeles County
  Examples: lease agreement, business license, or utility bill
• Proof of wildfire impact
  Examples: dated photos, repair estimates, invoices, insurance claim number, or city/fire report
• Proof of business existence
  Examples: business license, state registration, or recent tax filing
• Voided check or bank letter for ACH disbursement
• Completed W-9 form

• Applicants may apply once per round and for one business only.
• For business owners with multiple businesses, please apply using the business with the highest annual revenue.
• Each grant is limited to one award per business tax ID.
• Awards will be made only to qualified businesses based on accurate and complete submissions.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.
• Nonprofit organizations are not eligible.
• Businesses currently working with LISC LA business development partners may receive priority consideration.

If your business is selected as a finalist, you will be notified by email. Finalists may be required to submit additional documentation, including:

• Date of Birth
• SSN, ITIN, EIN, or Tax ID
• Financial records
• W-9
• Banking information for ACH payment

Finalist review may include business verification or background review conducted at LISC LA''s expense. If submitted tax or banking documentation does not match the application information, the applicant may be deemed ineligible.

Privacy

Application information will remain confidential and will not be shared publicly or with other applicants. Data is collected using secure systems, including FormAssembly, and managed in accordance with LISC''s privacy policy.

Monitoring

LISC may conduct follow-up monitoring and evaluation to understand the outcomes and impact of this grant program.
