A. Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible for this grant.

My business street address is within a FEMA-declared January 2025 wildfire area in Los Angeles County (PO boxes not accepted).

I confirm

My business is a for-profit small business.

I confirm

My annual gross revenue is under $2,000,000.

I confirm

My business sustained documented wildfire impact (physical damage or verifiable revenue loss tied to January 2025).

I confirm

I am currently operating or intend to reopen and remain in the same community.

I confirm

I am able to accept ACH payments (voided check or bank letter available).

I confirm

I have NOT previously been awarded LISC LA wildfire relief for the January 2025 event.

B. Required Uploads

The following documents will be required at submission or upon finalist request:

Proof of address in FEMA zone (lease, business license, or utility bill)
Proof of wildfire impact (dated photos, repair estimate/invoice, insurance claim # or denial, official fire/city report)
Proof of business existence (business license, state registration, or recent tax filing)
Voided check or bank letter (for ACH payment)
W-9 (required at finalist stage)

Requested Award: $5,000 (single award available)

Funding Rule Acknowledgment

At least 80% of the grant must be used for asset/tangible purchases. Up to 20% may be used for working capital.

Funding Rule Agreement
