There are different dimensions of identity, but for 2025-2026 partners we are focusing on racial and ethnic identity of the primary organizational leader (executive director, CEO, majority owner). Even if you have worked with us for some time, your voluntary response will ensure that we are capturing how you yourself identify. You also have an option to share specific nationality information as ethnic and racial categorical groups are not singular and span many different identities with unique cultures.
Your responses will help us be responsive to government and private funders, who are increasingly asking for this information and promote our own accountability as we aim to scale proven solutions, seed new ideas for community health, wealth and opportunity gaps and build the capacity of our partner organizations to do so.
Any data LISC collects regarding the race, religious creed, color, national origin, ancestry, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, sexual orientation, or military and veteran status of any person will only be used for the purpose of compiling and measuring statistics that are important to our work, including reporting to funders both public and private. We routinely request data the same as or similar to the data requested below; however, you are not required to furnish any of the following requested data and your relationship with LISC will not be affected by a decision to provide, or not to provide, the requested data. We will not disclose any identifiable organizational data to external parties without your consent. Any data that we do share will be aggregated and anonymized.
